Tri-City Expo
Branding, Responsive eCommerce & Event Marketing
New Hampshire’s Largest B2B Expo
The Tri-City Expo is a collaborative partnership between The Greater Concord, Manchester and Nashua Chambers, and is the premier networking event in Southern New Hampshire. Every year in the fall, up to 200 exhibitors and more than 1,000 attendees participate in this event. In 2013, we were approached by the committee to help with their branding and development of a new website.
Brand Design
In the past, the expo developed a new theme for each year’s expo, and they wanted something more solid that they could use every year. We developed a brand that features all three cities that are involved in the expo.
2014 Expo Theme
The committee discussed having a theme that would bring the expo more up to date with today’s technology. After a few brainstorming sessions we came up with the theme of “Be Interactive.” The idea was to encourage the expo’s participants to interact with one another virtually and in person at the expo. The theme translated well to all the marketing materials, from print to video animation.
Email Marketing
The committee noticed that as registration became easier and could be done online, people would tend to wait until the last minute to sign up. We came up with an email marketing campaign to try to get more people to sign up early. We incentivized signing up early by offering a lottery for a free booth. We also created some emails reminding people to register and also to attend the event as it approached.
eCommerce Responsive Web Design
The design of the website was centered around the goal of getting people to register online. We made sure that the registration process was a single click away from the home page, while all the other information about the expo lived in the menu.
Case Study
We had so much fun with this project that we turned the results into a case study video. Footage of our office combined with footage from the actual event accompanied the results we achieved with all the hard work of the committee and the agency.
