Located on the beautiful Lake Naticook in Merrimack, NH and minutes from the Merrimack and Nashua Y, YMCA Camp Sargent sits on 22 acres. Since 1924, Camp Sargent has offered the Greater Nashua Community a quality day camping program to boys and girls 5-16 years old.
Responsive Web Design
The design of Camp Sargent’s website is in accordance with the YMCA brand guidelines. We wanted to make sure we stayed within the guidelines while still making it stand out from the rest. The camp has a lot of great photos which we highlighted every chance we got. We also had some fun with the illustration in the footer. This design was used at the YUSA camp marketing conference as an example of how to use the YMCA brand guidelines when building camp websites.
Camp Life Through Photos
Another element of this website that we made sure to include was an easy way for the staff to update photo albums. Pictures of camp are really what gives the users a feel for what it’s like, so they are updated quite frequently and we needed to make sure the process was a simple one.
